Our family has been VERY busy lately with lots of exciting, and not exciting stuff going on. THe NOT exciting stuff is my current job situation. Found out that we did not get some funding for my position so I will be leaving Hopkins as of Dec. 31st unless something else comes up. I have been interviewing all over the place as well as consulting. I have currently set up 2 good consulting contracts and working on the 3rd now. I love doing that but it doesn't give us health insurance which for us is a big deal. Especially now since we are expecting Baby #2 .Timing between the kids will be great, but timing job wise is not. We will figure it all out. I am 15 weeks pregnant this week. We have a sonogram next week and they said they might be able to tell us what we are having.
We had a great Thanksgiving and hosted family at our house. Had a nice big group. December is flying by. We got our tree the first weekend and Hadley loved decorating the tree. Last weekend we went to Rehoboth with The Riebesehl's and their new baby Will to cheer on Mark in the Rehoboth Marathon. He did great! It was a chilly weekend though. We took Hadley and Will to see Santa on the boardwalk on Sunday. Will was fine (as he would be at 8 weeks old) Hadley not so much. She was saying, No Santa, No Santa and I had to sit with her for the photo shoot. Overall its been a good busy month. Just keep your fingers crossed that I land the perfect job in the next few weeks.
