We had our first snow of the season yesterday. Although, as typical Baltimore/Washington weather, it turned to icy rain at the end which is never any fun. We did venture out to one of our favorite little restaurants for happy hour and dinner with baby Hadley all bundled up. We love being able to walk to so many great places. Posted a few pictures of Hadley. She will be 3 months old this Friday. MY how time flies!! I will start back to work some next week. We'll see how it goes!

Making History
So I have been TRYING TO post a video for a week and blogspot JUST isn't having it. I will keep trying, but its of Hadley talking to her favorite Red Hawaiian monkey that Graeme gave her. She is obsessed with it and it brings a smile to her face at all times and she just loves to talk to it. It is the thing that brings out the most conversation out of her. She is really learning to move her tongue in her mouth and make all sorts of new sounds and nosies. Very fun! Today marked history so Hadley wore her Obama onesie that mom's friend Lori gave to her. Figured it should make one appearance for the photo albums so I will post a few pics of her in it. Too funny!

Grandma's Birthday
We had a great day celebrating Grandma Brown's birthday on Friday January 9th. Hadley and I drove down to NOVA and went to the new Clyde's in Ahsburn for lunch (What a place) and then went to Wegmans and Total Wine. Yes, Wegmans on mom's birthday but for two people who love to cook, we could have made an afternoon out of it! Mom will continue to celebrate her birthday until we take another cooking class at Big Fish Grill at the beach. They came up on Sunday with the Herbert's to celebrate again! I have posted a few pictures from the celebrations.

We had Hadley's 2 month doctors appointment yesterday and everything went great! Our little lady is growing and is right on schedule. She is in the 50 percentile for everything, weight, length and head circumference. She weighed in at a whopping 10lbs. 15 ounces and her length is 22 inches long. That would explain why none of the newborn sized suits fit anymore. She did very well with all of her vaccinations, ha. She actually hated them and her face turned the color of a stop sign and no sound came out of her mouth she was so upset, but we survived. She also did not get a fever which I was happy about. She did manage to have her best night YET since being home with us. I fed her at 10:30pm and she slept until 6:50am. UNBELIEVABLE! I am assuming its from the shots but hoping not! That is all I have to report today. Tomorrow is Grandma Brown's birthday so we will make a trip down to NOVA to take her to lunch.

We had lunch with our wonderful twin nephews here in Fells point last week so we got the first picture of the boys together with Hadley. What a good day. I have posted a picture from lunch. Price and I also decided to get away and out of Baltimore for a few days and head to Rehoboth for the weekend following new years. We had a great trip as always and played with our new digital SLR camera. Price is LOVING taking pictures with a real camera. I have posted some of our photo shoot!! Thats about all I have to report up until today. Hadley has her 2 month doctors apointment tomorrow so I will report back with weight gain and info. She is definitely chunking up!

HAPPY NEW YEAR and HAPPY 2 MOS. TO HADLEY!
How I am every night Price gets home. I cook with her in the bjorn.
1) Hadley and Grayson New Years eve 2) Mom and I at her party
1) Tummy time on 2 month bday 2) First smile caught on camera (6.5 weeks old)
We have had a wonderful week of holidays with our little Hadley this year. I can't believe that as of today she has been with us for 2 full months. Where is the time going?? First off we had a phenomenal Christmas. Price even said he thinks it might have been the best Christmas he has ever had. That makes me happy!! We spent it in NOVA at my parents house and stayed thru Friday when Mom had her annual Christmas party. Price and I then came back to Bmore and just had a low key New Years at our house and had a few friends over. We were VERY sad to not be at Dewey Beach this year for what would have been year 6 of the new years festivities there, but we will resume next year with babies. There will be 5 or so of us that will have had kids so we are thinking it would a blast to pick it up again with our new additions. Might be a little more low key but still a blast. I have posted some pictures from our various festivities. Hadley started smiling the week before Christmas and I did capture one on camera. It is accompanied by her "talking to us" which are these adorable little "coos and ahhs". They are so much fun. It even seems like she might be trying to laugh sometimes. What a fun stage!! She is also doing tummy time once or twice a day and really enjoys it. Anyway, hope everyone had a good new years eve and lets all hope for the best in 2009!
