Today Hadley discovered Kali's food and water bowl. Ugh! We are in for a lot of mess and trouble I think. As Kali was eating Hadley decided to go over and stare into the bowl as well adn take a kibble out herself and try it! Yum. I guess it won't be the first time, nor will it prob. be the worst thing she puts in her mouth, HOWEVER, I quickly snagged it and moved her to a new location. She promptly went BACK and started playing in the water bowl. We are now wearing a new shirt. Anyway..I have posted a video and a few pics. Hadley also decided to start sleeping from the sitting position. AMAZING how flexible kids are at this age. Last weekend Avery Kawejsza stopped thru so there is a picture of Hadley and Avery together. Price and i had our first night away and went to a wedding in New Jersey. Hadley stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Brown and did GREAT. PRice and I had a blast but we were excited to get back to our little one on Sunday.

Jackson Holy Wyoming Trip
I want to post some pictures of our incredible trip to Jackson Hole Wyoming. This was Hadley's second time flying and she did GREAT!! I was a bit nervous since we had a layover on the way there and back but it actually was good cuz we could get her out for a bit and have some new scenery, other than seat backs and such. The good ol' days of walking the plane aisles is over as well so thank god she slept most of the time we were flying. I had a work meeting in Jackson so we extended the trip. Price was daddy daycare while I was at my meetings. He and Hads did great! They spent lots of time walking around the Jackson village in the jog stroller, shopping, drinking beer, etc. Its so beautiful out there. The tetons are just amazing. One thing that we WEREN't totally ready for were the 34 degree night temperatures and highs in the 50's and 60's. Hard to imagine when it was in the 90's all week back home. I must admit it felt darn good and made me ready for the fall. We did have to break out some of Hadley's fall gear and roll sleeves up. Most things fit quite well which makes me nervous and I hope they make it thru the winter. Especially her AMAZING winter coat that mom and I got her at the Oilly Sample Sale in Chicago. Keep your fingers crossed! Anyway..enjoy some of the photos.

I never reported back on Hadley's 9 mos. doctors visit. She is growing like a weed, mostly her thighs! Actually, everything. She has rocketed from the 50th percentile which she has been for all of her previous apointments to the 75-80th%tile now. She weighed in at a whopping 20.7 lbs (no wonder my left bicep is getting big), 28.5 inches long. I have one pic to post of her latest sleeping postion. I took it from my phone so not the best quality. Next week or this weekend I will post pictures of our Jackson Hole Wyoming trip. Hadley did AWESOME on the flights! We had a great time. She has now eaten TONS of new stuff. Some of her favorits are french fries which I give her only on a special occasion since I don't want her to get too used to that! She does LOVE them though.

9 Months Gone by!
Clapping!
Wow how time flies. Hadley turned 9 mos. this past Friday. I cannot believe it! She is the most amazing addition to our family in the world! I will post an update tomorrow after her 9 mos. doctors apt. I am VERY curious to see how much she weighs. We did put one of her "big girl" car seats in the SUV a few weeks ago and she is so much more comfortable. Price, Hadley and I travel to Jackson Hole Wyoming on Friday and I am waiting for the doc. apt tomorrow to see whether we can travel with her infant seat or what to do about that. Hadley is at such a fun stage right now. VERY into mimicking us and almost saying, "Uh Oh" after I do which seems to be a lot. She also LOVES to clap all the time and waves a ton but mostly at strange people, more so than those that she knows. She says the GGggg sound all the time and often it sounds like "good girl" which Price and I say all the time to her as well as Kali. So much more but then it would sound like I am telling you more than I am sure you care to know about our little lady. One big thing going on is that we did decide to do daycare and found a wonderful place. We will start her there in mid September. Its getting tough for us at the office now so this 'step' will be great for both of us. She LOVES being aroudn other babies and kids so this will be wonderful for her. I know that it will be harder for me than for her. Anyway, I feel as if I am babbling on. I will post a few new pictures. We went to NOVA on Saturday to see some of our good friends and had a great time. Thanks Jon and Jenny!
